Mike Viscuso


Mike Viscuso began his career in the security industry in 1976 as a Security Technician. After gaining expertise in the field he founded a company called Counter Intelligence in 1980. After three successful years Counter Intelligence was incorporated. The company was later renamed Nationwide Security Corporation. Mike Viscuso leads the company and is dedicated to day to day management and sales.  He also spends much of his time integrating unique system designs and engineering for clients. He holds a CT L5 contractor’s license, #105668. Mike is Lenel certified in access and digital video, and holds certifications in Nice, Galaxy, Northern Computers, Lenel, ONSSI, and Avigilon.

Through Mike’s leadership Nationwide Security has earned a “Certificate of Good Standing” with the State of Connecticut’s apprenticeship Program. Nationwide Security Corp also has a “Certificate of Compliance” with Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL). Mike Viscuso is also a “Member in Good Standing” with (CASIA) CT Alarm and Security Integrators Association, (ASIS) American Society for Industrial Security and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

Al Brigante

VP of Project Management

Al Brigante joined Nationwide Security Corporation in 1986. He received a Bachelor of Science from Ohio Institute of Technology in Computers. Al Brigante began his career programming access control systems and integrating intrusion to meet clients’ needs to the fullest. In his current role as Senior Project Manager, he is directly involved in scheduling large projects and overseeing them to completion. Al Brigante is responsible for all site Forman and solving any on-site problems. He is on-site for all ongoing jobs and assures completion of all projects.

Rich Sudock

VP of Operations

Rich Sudock graduated from UConn in 2003 with a degree in economics and finance.  After being a property and casualty insurance agent for 15 years where he helped clients identify and manage risk, Rich joined NSC in 2018.  Rich performs two important roles at NSC, both of which are designed to make the client experience as smooth and seamless as possible.  First, he oversees the finance and accounting department.  Second, he is Head of Operations specializing in internal procedures, workflow processes, and running our client management system.

Jim Ulatoski

CAD Design, Project Support

Jim Ulatoski has over twenty five years experience in the security industry. He has had many titles including: Installer, AutoCad Security Systems Designer, Purchasing/Inventory Manager, Back-up Service Department Dispatch, Customer Service and Job Management.

As an AutoCad Operator, he is knowledgeable in AutoCad and AutoCad LT, along with many other drawing programs. He is responsible for updating security plans, adding security devices to prints, wiring diagrams, riser diagrams and detail drawings. His design process is client-focused to meet their specifications. He also is involved with the As-Built drawings and Operation & Maintenance manuals.

As Job Management Supervisor, he is in charge of purchasing, inventory control, job costing and AIA invoicing.

Rick Mut

Senior Estimator / Project Manager

Rick Mut began working for Nationwide Security Corporation in 2005. He began his career in customer service and transitioned to sales and estimating in 2008. Rick pursues new construction and renovation opportunities and designs, estimates, and manages small to large integrated system projects.  Rick is also active in bid opportunities from consultants, architects, and engineers based on specifications and drawings.

Rick regularly attends manufacturer certifications and seminars and continues to educate himself on new products and systems in the marketplace.  Some of those systems and certifications include: Lenel, RS2, Keri, Persona, Galaxy, DMP, Honeywell, OnSSI, Milestone, Video Insight, Avigilon, Agent Vi, and Mircom.  Rick has also completed numerous sales training programs.

Brian Gouin, ProFM

Senior Security Consultant / Senior National Account Specialist

Brian Gouin has over 30 years of experience in the security field and joined NSC in 2017. Prior to his current position, he owned Strategic Design Services, LLC and was an independent security consultant providing security risk assessment, system design, and project management services for electronic burglary, CCTV, access control, gate operator, and monitoring facility systems.  He is the author of two books and has contributed to a number of other security related books and other industry journals and magazines.

Brian has extensive experience and training in electronic security hardware and software as well as overall physical and operational security. He has developed security programs from the ground up inclusive of physical security, policies and procedures, and personnel.  Brian has worked on projects ranging from cultural properties, data centers, healthcare facilities, manufacturing facilities, entertainment venues, educational facilities, and government facilities.  Prior to 2001, Brian owned a successful security installation company in central CT.

Brian is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), the International Foundation for Cultural Property Protection (IFCPP),  the New England Museum Association (NEMA), the International Association of Healthcare Safety & Security (IAHSS), and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

Brian has also received the ProFM® certification. ProFM® is the most current, relevant, and inclusive credential and training program in facility management. It is designed to provide modern, practical, and complete FM knowledge and skills to facility professionals around the world.

Jeannette Arroyo

Office Manager / National Accounts Project Manager

Jeannette Arroyo joined the team in early 2018.  She has a diverse background in office management, a passion for detail and to maintain compliance with integrity. Jeannette’s expertise includes the design, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of the processes within the office. She has the ability to sustain and improve efficiency while keeping customer service and confidentiality a priority in all aspects of Human Resources, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Anthony Goodnight

Service Manager

Anthony joined NSC in 2016 as a service technician and became Service manager in early 2020.  He has been in the security / fire field since 1988 and holds certifications in Lenel, RS2. and Keri card access, DMP intrusion, Digital Watchdog, Milestone, and Panasonic Video Insight video systems, as well as ASSA ABLOY security products, Agent VI analytics, Honeywell fire systems, and HVAC.  He is a member of the American Society for industrial Security (ASIS) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and is committed to on-going educational opportunities. He brings a strong organizational and management background to the team.
